Introduction

Optimizely is seeking a Brand Designer to join the Creative Team, as part of the larger Global Marketing Team. As Brand Designer, you will participate in every aspect of the design and development process - effortlessly bouncing between traditional design, video, motion, web, and experiential projects. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in their craft, can adapt to various creative styles and mediums, and has experience working with multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams to deliver world-class brand experiences.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in the concepting and execution of designs for products and brand experiences that are delightful, strategic, and show a high level of craft.
  • Be a good steward for our brand, while constantly evolving it and pushing at its edges.
  • Collaborate with a team of  multi-disciplinary creative partners, including visual designers, motion designers, and web designers.
  • ·Work in collaboration with cross-functional partners, including product managers, and product designers to define opportunities, develop concepts, and bring ideas to life.
  • Create sketches, storyboards, prototypes, and/or design specs necessary to guide the development of marketing projects.
  • Clearly articulate strategic thinking and design decisions.
  • Give and solicit feedback from your design peers.
  • Work independently on multiple projects at a high caliber level.

Knowledge and Experience

  • 3+ years experience as a designer at a related company or agency.
  • A link to an online portfolio showcasing relevant work is required.
  • Experience working in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Experience maintaining, and evolving, visual brand guidelines.
  • Experience working with a brand team at a relevant company or agency.
  • Presentation and communication skills.
