Introduction

The Optimizely Market Intelligence team is looking for a Market Intelligence Associate to join our organization. In this role, you will support the Analyst Relations & Market Intelligence Director in building and updating competitive assets that support sales, marketing, and leadership across our product suite. This means you will build a solid foundational understanding of how Optimizely differentiates itself against our key competitors and produce iterative content that helps our GTM teams be successful. This role requires constant collaboration with key internal stakeholders, working cross-functionally with brand, product, product marketing, product strategy, sales, customer success, and sales enablement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Director in conducting competitive analysis and research to support marketing, sales, and strategy initiatives.
  • Monitor competitor activity and analyze their go-to-market strategies, product offerings, and positioning.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Optimizely’s products and differentiation in the market.
  • Monitor industry trends and analyze their impact on Optimizely’s business.
  • Maintain internal competitive assets (i.e., battlecards, slide decks, newsletters, etc.) that enable Sales to compete against competitors.
  • Ensure appropriate internal channels reflect the latest CI content (sales enablement platform, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Use AI to scale competitive content quickly and to assess new/ongoing threats.
  • Present your findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience

  • 2-3 years of technology experience in SaaS companies or technology consulting companies in a product management, consultant, business analyst or enablement role.
  • Experience in competitive intelligence or product marketing.
  • Experience in AI and prompt development.
  • Ability to quickly understand technologies.
  • Outstanding ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills.
  • Experience in DXP, CMS, or Experimentation is an added advantage.

Education

Bachelors degree with emphasis in marketing, communications, or executive assistance experience.
