Introduction
As a Cloud Engineer specializing in AI and Machine Learning, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's AI and machine learning development team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions tailored to the unique requirements of AI and machine learning workloads. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud environments dedicated to AI and machine learning projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, automation, and a solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with AI and machine learning developers to understand infrastructure requirements for training, testing, and deploying machine learning models.
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions optimized for AI and machine learning workloads, including high-performance computing (HPC) clusters, GPU instances, and distributed storage.
- Deploy and manage cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager, tailored to AI and machine learning use cases.
- Configure and optimize cloud services to support AI and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards specific to AI and machine learning data and models, including data encryption, access control, and model versioning.
- Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines for ingesting, preprocessing, and transforming data for machine learning tasks.
- Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of AI and machine learning workloads.
- Troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure, resource utilization, and performance bottlenecks in AI and machine learning workflows.
- Monitor and analyze cloud resource usage and performance metrics to identify optimizations and cost-saving opportunities.
- Stay updated on emerging AI and machine learning technologies, tools, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.
Knowledge and Experience
- 3+ years hands-on experience in a MLOps/ML Engineering/DevOps related field
- Experience in designing and implementing cloud and data engineering systems
- Experience with cloud computing infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience in DevOps and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience in configuring and monitoring CI/CD pipelines (GitHub)
- Experience with AI and machine learning model training and optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of specialized AI and machine learning infrastructure solutions such as NVIDIA GPU Cloud (NGC) or AWS AI/ML services.
- Familiarity with AI model deployment and serving frameworks such as TensorFlow Serving or Amazon SageMaker.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, or Apache Kafka in the context of AI and machine learning applications.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Or Equivalent Experience
