Introduction

This role is responsible for supporting internal stakeholders with their purchasing of software, hardware, marketing events & services across multiple departments (Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Tax). This position will support the buyers in their use of Optimizely Spend Management application system (ORO) and be a champion of adoption of the system and process. 

Job Responsibilities

•    Support Optimizely’s European, US, Vietnam and local offices 
•    Develop a strong knowledge of Optimizely Spend Management application- ORO 
•    Proactively engage with buyers to support their purchasing  
•    Build and develop relationships with Procurement Operations colleagues and management and other stakeholders (Finance and Legal). 
•    Develop good understanding of financial and legal terms 
•    Be process focused but result oriented. 
•    Can-do, flexible, positive attitude 
•    Work with the wider spend management team on projects. 
•    Having a continuous improvement mindset, identifying and contributing to further develop the core sourcing and procurement operating model 

 

Knowledge and Experience

•    Fluent English - verbal and written  
•    Demonstrated experience in spend management, procurement, accounting, law, finance, supply chain 
•    Demonstrated experience in IT, Software or Professional services companies 
•    Excellent organizational and planning skills 
•    Good communicator  
•    Demonstrable ability to read and interpret a contracts for purchase of goods and services  
•    Demonstrate an ability to support contract negotiation 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal or Law
