Introduction

As an Associate System Administrator II, you will help Optimizely operations evolve at scale and with business needs. You’ll provide front-line user support for internal tools and technologies. Beyond the day-to-day, you will contribute to various initiatives, including continuously improving our offerings and adapting with business needs. This includes updating our tools and technologies, process improvements, and documentation efforts that help support our staff.

Job Responsibilities

•    Work globally, with a team of system administrators in a 24x7 environment to respond to tickets in accordance to with SLA’s of the company.
•    Provide effective IT support, including out-of-hours support in critical incidents and participation in on-call support. This includes Active Directory - user accounts and administration, Configuring and administering Office 365 systems, Remote Desktop technologies, hardware setup and troubleshooting, printer issues and networking.
•    Work within the guidelines of security and compliance requirements, including ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI, eDiscovery, HIPPA, SOC II. 
•    Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both remotely and in-person. 
•    Proactively identify and address technical issues with the IT team.
•    Design, update, and maintain IT documentation (Confluence).
•    Manage our Mac, Windows endpoints through MDM solutions globally. (Intune & Jamf).
•    Ensure effective onboarding and credentialing of new staff and secure offboarding of departing staff, with cross-collaboration between Operations REWO and HR departments.
•    Support use of business operational systems including Azure, O365, Slack, Zoom, Okta, Jira, Confluence (Atlassian).
•    Support the standard build of our corporate operating systems, including macOS, Windows; ensure successful remote and physical laptop deployments.
•    Scripting knowledge desirable such as PowerShell and bash Desktop based support experience.
•    Experience within areas such as Active Directory, Windows Server, DHCP, DNS etc.
•    Control and keep up with patching on servers, network hardware, and end-user devices. 
•    Control and upkeep of internal networking hardware, such as firewalls and VPNs.
•    Maintain asset inventory, including regular physical stock checks. 
•    Troubleshoot technical issues; diagnose and work with third-party vendors as necessary to provide technical resolution – Liaise with 3rd parties I.e., vendors.
•    Perform IT Storage room maintenance consisting of hardware recycling, and ensuring a proper disposal of redundant equipment according to current EU directives/guidelines 
•    Monitors and responds to network security events.
•    Stays current with the industry to evaluate and propose new technologies as required.
•    Mentors and trains colleagues on existing and new technologies and works alongside them to troubleshoot occasional IT challenges.
•    Maintain occasional availability during out of office hours as required.  
•    Perform other job-related responsibilities as required.

Knowledge and Experience

•    Certification in a technology preferred. 
•    3-5  years’ experience as a Systems Administrator in a fast paced, cutting-edge IT environment.
•    An understanding of TCP/IP networking and technologies; LANs, VLAN’s, VPNs, Wi-Fi.
•    Strong knowledge of implementing and troubleshooting, Active Directory, Exchange, Intune, Office 365, other Microsoft based technologies.
•    Experience with various cloud computing and NAS/SAN solutions preferred.
•    Experience with IT ticketing systems, such as Zendesk or Jira.
•    Experience with Okta and SSO technologies.  
•    Experience of Mobile Device Management (MDM) ideally with Microsoft Intune and Jamf.
•    Experience with AV conferencing solutions Such as Team & Zoom Rooms. 
•    Expert understanding of Windows & Mac OS. 
•    Ability to independently manage and prioritise workload.
•    Experience with Office 365. 
•    Ability to work well within a team and simultaneously use one own's initiative. 
•    Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. 
•    Ability to prioritise tasks. 
•    Strong focus on customer service and user experience.  

Education

•    Bachelor's degree or Associate degree preferred.
