Introduction

The Business Intelligence analyst will provide insight and analytics to the bussiness supporting growth and development. Focusing more on the back end visualisations and analysis of data rather than creating the data framework. 

Job Responsibilities

-    Interpret data, analyse results and provide ongoing reports.
-    Develop and supply strategic reporting, including: quarterly summaries, monthly trends, week-over-week analysis, and daily reporting
-    Building digestible dashboards that report and drive change within the business
-    Assist with trend reporting on case studies to help operations leadership in seeking to understand root cause 
-    Maintain and develop business relationships with key stakeholders
-    Assist with implementing databases, data analytics and other strategies that optimize operational effectiveness and efficiency.
-    Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
-    Uses data patterns and trends to root cause operational gaps and inefficiency, develop solutions in collaboration with teams.

 

Work hours: Monday to Thursday, 10 AM to 6 PM.

Knowledge and Experience

-    2+ years working experience as a data analyst or similar technical role
-    Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) and databases (SQL) 
-    Excellent communicator and the ability to make complex problems simple. 
-    Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
-    Comfortable working with Raw data to create tables and views with our engineers 
-    Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Mathematics or equivalent
