Introduction

As a Compliance Policy Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for supporting and overseeing all policies and associated documentation that relating to our Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) program at Optimizely. Duties will include reviewing existing policies, ensuring policies are maintained, determining whether the policies are still in line with our goals including legal and regulatory requirements, suggesting improvements and working with other stakeholders. 

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with great communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.   

As a member of the Optimizely’s Compliance Team you will be pivotal in driving and continually improving the Policy Management program to support the developed of, but not limited to, Compliance, Legal, HR, Security policy and other associated documentation. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Applying expertise and knowledge in evaluating existing policies. 
  • Determining if policies are aligned with stated goals and objectives. 
  • Consulting with internal and external stakeholders to ensure inclusion of relevant factors. 
  • Identifying benefits, disadvantages, and omissions in existing policy. 
  • Ensuring that policies and policy amendments meet legal and regulatory requirements. 
  • Reporting on findings and proposing new policies or amendments to existing policies. 
  • Drafting new policies or amendments to policies and submitting proposals for review. 
  • Editing and finalizing new policies or amendments as required. 
  • Documenting processes and distributing information to stakeholders. 
  • Ensuring document control is implemented and maintained across all policies and documentation. 
  • Support the communication of policy changes when required. 
  • Support internal audit program relating to policy/documentation requirements. 

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience of building and maintaining influential relationships with a wide range of stakeholders 
  • Experience of using OneTrust or a similar GRC/Policy Management tool would be advantageous. 
  • Strong communication skills collaborating with internal teams, enjoy collaborating across departments. 
  • Calm presence under tight deadlines. 
  • Self-starter, consistent performer, professional, positive attitude. 
  • Excellent proofreading skills/attention to detail. 
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills. 
  • Excellent language skills/Fluent in English 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience. 
  • 2-3 years of experience in analysing policies.
