The GTM Operations Team at Optimizely plays a crucial role in enabling efficient and effective marketing and sales programs. We ensure that executive management has the necessary insights to make informed decisions, empower our field teams, and streamline processes and tools for optimal performance. Collaboration across all departments and close alignment with the executive team are fundamental to our success. 

Job Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst in the GTM Operations Team, you will be responsible for delivering specific data, features, or processes that enhance our marketing and sales programs. Your contributions will be integral to our success, and you will be expected to: 

  • Deliver high-quality work products within defined timelines. 
  • Develop expertise in a particular focus area and contribute valuable knowledge to the team.
  • Collaborate with the team on collective work products when required. 

  In addition to the previously mentioned responsibilities, as a Data Analyst in the GTM Operations Team, you will also: 

  • Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reports to key stakeholders. 
  • Collaborate with the operations leadership team to identify and report on data inaccuracies, assisting in understanding root causes and recommending corrective actions. 
  • Assist in the implementation of databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies aimed at optimizing operational effectiveness and efficiency. 
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources, including data from 3rd Party partner systems to ensure high data quality through manual & automated enrichment. 
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, providing valuable insights to the organization. 
  • Partner with stakeholders to build highly targeted contact or account lists for our GTM Sales & Marketing plays 
  • Work closely with the business to prioritize business and information needs, aligning data analysis efforts with organizational objectives. 
  • Identify process and system gaps within the GTM Operations Department and highlight areas for optimization and automation, actively contributing to projects aimed at improving these areas. 


Working Hours: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm (Sunday-Thursday) 

Knowledge and Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of working experience as a data analyst.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively convey complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in data models, database design and development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Tools: Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc., and proficiency in database querying using SQL or similar technologies.
  • Statistics: Familiarity with statistics and experience using statistical packages (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS) for analyzing datasets.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reporting: Proficiency in creating queries, report writing, and presenting findings in a clear and comprehensible manner.
