Introduction
We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join the Value Consulting team at Optimizely. Based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, this role is tailored to support the specific technical needs of our Value Consulting team, creating innovative software solutions that drive our value selling and value management efforts. As a key technical resource, you will contribute to building vital tools that support both pre-sales and post-sales activities. We are looking for someone who loves to work in a dynamic environment, is comfortable and willing to work on multiple projects, and is experienced enough to contribute meaningfully to software architecture and design decisions.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and maintain custom software solutions that directly support value selling and value management within the Value Consulting team.
Design, implement, and maintain a recommendation engine that facilitates maturity/adoption cross-sells and upsells, aligned with our value-driven strategies.
Work closely with the Value Consulting team to translate business requirements into technical solutions that enhance our pre-sales and post-sales processes.
Set up and optimize demo environments for Sales Engineers, ensuring these tools are tailored to effectively showcase our value propositions.
Collaborate across the full stack, including front-end, back-end, and database development, to deliver robust and scalable solutions tailored to the needs of Value Consulting.
Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend the functionality of our internal tools, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
Handle complex user authentication, permissions, and integrations with SSO systems.
Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet the specific needs of the Value Consulting team.
Leverage DevOps practices to streamline deployment and maintain high system reliability.
Continuously research and apply industry best practices and emerging technologies to keep our solutions cutting-edge and effective.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday (2 PM to 10 PM)
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio of web and software development projects focusing on backend
Expertise in back-end development using languages such as Node.js, Python, or Java, along with experience in RESTful API development.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
Strong knowledge of databases, including SQL and NoSQL databases is preferred
Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms and SSO integrations.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, along with skills in UNIX command line tools
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly solutions.
