Introduction
Onboarding Solution Architects at Optimizely are key members of the Onboarding team, which is a part of the broader Customer Success organization. They are responsible for ensuring the successful deployment of a suite of products, add-ons and integrations, that require both a strong technical expertise and a deep product understanding.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and participate in the design and development of complex, high performance enterprise web applications, and repeatable services
- Support internal teams including Sales Solutions Architect, Product Team, and Customer Success Managers with scoping, demo, proof of concept engineering, and solution recommendations.
- Mentor peers on enterprise web application development strategies, technologies, techniques, tools, guidelines, and the adoption of new technologies
- Review ongoing work by engineers
- Lead architecture review board, peer code reviews
- Design and build integrations with 3rd party products while standardizing integration principles
- Build custom scripts to migrate assets and retrieve associated metadata
- Manage multiple simultaneous customer projects, balancing priorities of business objectives, use cases, customer satisfaction, and technical quality while being an advocate for the customer and partners
- Facilitate and deliver in-person and/or remote user training, technical discovery, and design workshops in accordance with designated service offerings
- Maintain an in-depth product knowledge to provide consistent and up to date approaches and recommendations when addressing customers use cases
- Responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance of our internal/external documentation to support/streamline/accelerate the deployment of the solution
Knowledge and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in server-side, client-side development as an engineer
- Experience designing and implementing complex commercial/enterprise hosted and client-server applications and system components or experience designing, developing and supporting high-volume, highly scalable, mission critical enterprise e-commerce systems
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet project deadlines
- Strong communication and presentation skills (English verbal and written)
- Comfortable leading meetings to discuss and discover technical requirements
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to be flexible in project situations.
- Drive to learn and share knowledge with customers and teammates
- Strong work ethic and good organizational skills
- Fluency in English communication in a must*
- Ability to work in UK time zones
