Introduction
The Order Management Specialist role within the finance group will assist in the day-to-day activities and processing of new orders. Once the customer contract is received, this position is responsible for order fulfillment. The role provides top-tier customer service through proactive order management from order receipt to customer invoicing. You will engage in multiple aspects of the order process while working closely with sales operations, finance team members, and other departments to ensure orders are filled promptly and in full. This position will report directly to the Manager, Global Order Management.
**US Working hours: Mon-Fri, 7 pm to 3 am (Dhaka time)**
Job Responsibilities
• Process contracts and orders and ensure all documentation is in compliance with revenue recognition and company policy
• Validate renewal opportunities for renewal forecasting
• Support the quoting process with the global maintenance teams
• Recommend process improvements and quality assurance procedures to reduce errors and increase the efficiency of the order entry and billing processes
• Issue invoices and distribute them electronically or by mail
• Resolve customer invoice inquiries, disputes, and complaints in a timely manner.
• Work with AR and collections to assist resolution of customer billing investigations and disputes
• Work with Service Desk/Technical Support to ensure timely delivery of products and services within Order Management knowledge
• Sales reports
• Other duties as assigned
• Ability to work non-standard hours – Mirroring of the United States Eastern Time Zone required
Job Requirements
- 1+ year(s) experience with Order Management or a similar role is a plus
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Focus on superior customer service
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Solid communication skills
- Attention to details
- Proficient in MS Office and data entry; working knowledge of ERP software is a plus
- Comfortable with mathematics and financial data
Candidates must be flexible during peak periods at month and quarter end with the potential to work hours on Saturday.
Education
Bachelor's degree in any discipline. 1+ years of AR experience is a plus.
