Introduction
Optimizely is seeking a detail-oriented and operationally driven Strategic Alliance Manager to support and optimize our partnerships with leading hyperscalers, including Microsoft and Google Cloud. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient execution of our day-to-day partner operations, with a strong focus on data integrity, reporting, co-sell process management, and internal alignment. The ideal candidate is process-minded, analytics-savvy, and experienced in supporting large-scale alliance programs with hyperscalers.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (2 PM to 10 PM)
Job Responsibilities
- Operational Management of Hyperscaler Partnerships: Support the daily operations of strategic alliances with Microsoft and Google by managing partner-related data, pipeline reporting, and collaboration platforms. Act as the operational lead and central point of coordination for internal stakeholders interacting with hyperscaler partners.
- Data & Reporting Excellence: Own the integrity and accuracy of partner data and reporting, including co-sell pipelines, opportunity registration, and partner performance metrics. Develop dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility into hyperscaler partnership KPIs and GTM performance.
- Process Enablement & Optimization: Design, document, and continuously improve internal processes related to hyperscaler partnerships. Ensure smooth execution of opportunity registration, account mapping, incentive tracking, and field collaboration. Maintain and optimize usage of Partner Relationship Management (PRM) tools and integration with systems like Salesforce.
- Support Field Co-Sell Execution: Collaborate with regional sales teams, partner development managers, and hyperscaler counterparts to ensure timely and effective co-sell motions. Monitor and assist on request in opportunity lifecycle management to drive joint wins.
- Marketplace Coordination: Support Marketplace operations across Microsoft and Google, including solution listings, private offer coordination, and seller enablement. Ensure internal teams are trained and enabled to leverage Marketplace as a channel for deal acceleration and cloud consumption alignment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales operations, finance, partner marketing, and GTM teams to ensure hyperscaler strategies are aligned with business objectives. Provide consistent operational support to alliance leaders and strategic program owners.
- Executive Dashboards & Reporting: Produce monthly and quarterly business reviews, synthesizing operational data and performance insights into executive-ready summaries. Track key metrics tied to hyperscaler goals, including co-sell revenue, pipeline velocity, and program engagement.
- Program & Initiative Support: Support execution of strategic initiatives aligned with hyperscaler partner programs (e.g., Microsoft Azure IP Co-Sell, Google Cloud Marketplace, and AI/ML GTMs). Act as the operational driver behind program enrollment, deliverable tracking, and compliance.
Knowledge and Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in alliance operations, partner enablement, business operations, or sales operations, preferably within the hyperscaler ecosystem
- Good understanding of hyperscaler partner programs (Microsoft, Google Cloud), including Co-Sell and Marketplace models
- Proficiency in partner platforms and CRM tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Partner Center, and Google Partner Advantage
- Exceptional skills in data analysis, reporting, and process documentation
- Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Self-driven and attention to detail
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred
