Introduction
As a Field Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in driving awareness, demand, and adoption of Optimizely Opal — the AI agent orchestration platform for marketing. You will work closely with sales, product marketing, demand generation, etc. teams to develop and execute targeted marketing programs that resonate with our key personas. Your efforts will directly contribute to pipeline generation and revenue growth for Opal.
Job Responsibilities
- Sales Enablement: Partner with the sales team to create compelling sales tools, presentations, and collateral that articulate the value of Opal and its AI-powered features. Train sales on key messaging and competitive differentiation.
- Event Management: Plan, organize, and execute regional events, workshops, and roadshows to showcase Opal's capabilities and engage with prospects and customers.
- Demand Generation: Design and execute integrated campaigns (e.g., webinars, , account-based marketing, direct mail) to generate high-quality leads and pipeline for Optimizely.
- Content Localization & Promotion: Adapt global marketing content for territory relevance, ensuring Opal's messaging effectively addresses local market needs and challenges. Promote content through various channels.
- Budget Management: Manage field marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal ROI for all activities.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and ROI, using insights to continuously optimize future programs.
- Market Intelligence: Gather market feedback and competitive intelligence related to AI as it pertains to our key personas, sharing insights with product and marketing teams to inform strategy.
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in field marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue.
- Strong understanding of the marketing technology landscape, DXP, content management, experimentation, and personalization.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in marketing workflows is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms.
- Ability to travel as needed for events and meetings.
Education
College degree required with a preferred emphasis in marketing, communications, and/or general business; MBA a plus
Education or equivalent experience in digital marketing
