Introduction

Optimizely is seeking a Product Designer II to join the team shaping the Optimizely Connect Platform (OCP) and related developer experiences. This role will focus primarily on developer workflows for building AI-powered extensions within OCP, AI-assisted developer tools, and integration experiences across the platform.

This role sits at the intersection of product design, developer experience, and platform thinking. You will help design the workflows developers use to build, configure, test, publish, and manage connectors and integrations in OCP, while also shaping the experiences users rely on to discover, set up, and activate those integrations.

You will support end-to-end design from discovery through delivery, working closely with Product, Engineering, and fellow designers across Vietnam, Europe, and North America. You will contribute to foundational platform workflows as well as emerging AI-powered experiences that help developers move faster, reduce setup complexity, and work more effectively within the Optimizely ecosystem.

If you are looking to work on the next generation of digital experiences in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment, apply! We’re just getting started...

The goal of our product designers is to deeply understand our customers’ problems and design solutions to those problems. They are part of the entire product development process, from concept to launch. They work closely with product managers, UX researchers, and engineers to understand the customer problem, iterate on solutions, and ship finished designs to customers.

  • Work with fellow designers to maintain and evolve design patterns and system components for platform and developer-facing experiences
  • Stay informed about trends in developer platforms, SaaS ecosystems, integration tooling, and AI-assisted product experiences

Knowledge and Experience

  • 3 to 4 years of design experience working on digital products or SaaS platforms
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong interaction design, visual craft, and problem solving across complex workflows

  • Interest in or early experience with developer tools, APIs, integration platforms, automation workflows, or technical product domains
  • Interest in or early experience with AI-assisted product features such as guided workflows, copilots, intelligent suggestions, or contextual assistance
  • Nice to have: familiarity with connectors, integrations, app ecosystems, or developer experience design
