Introduction
Optimizely is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer who will report to the Director of Business Enablement, Information Technology. This role will primarily work with the Sales Operations team as well as other departmental system administrators of enterprise software applications.
This role will ensure that Optimizely’s Salesforce instance is both scalable and meeting the needs of the business operations. You will have extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise features in Salesforce. You will collaborate with sales operations managers, business systems analysts, and system admins to design and implement solutions to business problems. You will champion the best practice usage of the system and its integrations with other systems like NetSuite, Gainsight, Conga, and Marketo.
Job Responsibilities
- Designing, building, and implementing custom applications using the declarative customization capabilities of the Salesforce Platform
- Developing and deploying business logic and user interfaces using the programmatic capabilities of the Lightning Platform
- Creating custom applications, utilizing objects, fields, UI customization, automation tools, security, app deployment
- Creating advanced workflows and validation rules
- Automating business processes with Process Builder, approvals, and flows
- Manage data migrations and integrations
- Write business logic customizations with SOQL and DML using Apex triggers and classes
- Write Visualforce markup and code to customize the user interface
- Use the built-in testing framework to test Apex and Visualforces
- Build data objects (sObjects) and programmatically retrieving, manipulating, and storing the data associated with those objects.
- Configure outbound/inbound application and integration security
- Develop synchronization of Salesforce data with external systems
- Test integrations using Apex REST and SOAP callout and service logic
- Work closely with business analysts and sales operations managers relating to changes in integrations for projects related to enterprise systems, integrations, processes, change control, and operations
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in Agile, C# & Cloud...
- 3-5 years of experience delivering SalesForce releases and functionality
- 3-5 years of industry knowledge of SalesForce platform
- The ability to work with technical developers and business users to create new releases and enhance the customer experience
- The ability to lead multiple projects and managed communications with a range of individuals, up-to-senior level stakeholders
- Strong Excel competency, comfortable working with complex data with Analytics stakeholders
- Degree educated (or have equivalent experience or qualifications)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
