Introduction

The EPMO Change Manager will play a key role in ensuring change initiatives meet objectives by increasing employee engagement and adoption. This person will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, technology, ways of working, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The change manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees and in order to support benefit realization and the achievement of results and outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

Apply a structured methodology to lead change management activities, including processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
Integrate change management activities into project plan and highlight dependencies
Identify key stakeholders and facilitae the engagement and management of key stakeholders
Drive communications, including the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
Assess the change impact and develop action plans to mitigate / manage the impacts
Set up and managing Change Networks if required
Drive knowledge transfer including activities including training needs analysis, training and support design, delivery and assessment
Complete business readiness and post implementation assessments
Identify and manage anticipated resistance
Consult and coach project teams and other stakeholders on change management principles
Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
Track, report and manage business change realted risks and issues
Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
Support change management at the organizational level

Knowledge and Experience

A minimum of 3+ years of succesfully managing complex people centred change in a global business
A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, influence others l
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
 

Education

Qualified in a relevant discipline including:
Change management certification or designation desired, Experienced in the use of MS suite
