Introduction

The Partner Development Manager will be assigned a segment of the Optimizely partner channel across EMEA and will be responsible for helping to build sales capability on the Optimizely platform in the assigned partners with a specific focus on B2B commerce and the Manufacturing and Distribution industry. This will include sales and business development planning, basic sales enablement and delivery of customised sessions to help the Partners to build effective sales teams.

This role requires a self-motivated individual who can manage a portfolio of Partners across a territory to build strategic alliances and partnerships between Optimizely and the Partner channel. This person will be the interface between the two organisations working primarily out of the UK but with responsibility across Europe and input into the wider global Partner business. This is a business development and relationship management role that is responsible for business generated by the portfolio of Partners and the allocation of resources within the partnerships and Alliances.

Job Responsibilities

 

·Demonstrate value of Optimizely

· Explain Optimizely capability to teams within the Partners

· Elevate Optimizely status within partner

· Create collateral that can be used by Partner sales teams

· Speak at Partner events or resource through the Optimizely team

· Articulate Optimizely capability and value in the language of the Partner

· Communicate wins/milestones/relevant info on Optimizely

· Drive demand generation activities and manage a pipeline of opportunities

· Co-ordinate partner enablement – both sales support and delivery capability (supported by a Partner enablement manager and other teams within Optimizely)

· Be Subject Matter Expert on all services provided by a partnership or alliance

· Support the partner on client engagements, representing the Optimizely platform

Knowledge and Experience

· Market knowledge

· Understanding of B2B solutions

· Understanding of the Manufacturing and Distribution industry

· A consistent record of successful business development, relationship management and/or strategic alliances

· Ability to identify potential solutions, create business cases, demand generation and marketing programs for these solutions

· The ability to build and develop diverse relationships essential to achieving the Partner and Alliance revenue objectives.

· Team player. Strong drive. Self-starter. Willing to take leadership role in driving initiatives, working across the organisation

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred.
