Introduction

The new Senior Packaging & Pricing Manager will help us to start revisiting our P&P across the product portfolio in a structured and methodological fashion (i.e. based on data, as well as qual and quant research), foster "value thinking" through collaboration and support setting up scalable processes .

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive pricing and packaging projects for product categories that is optimized to deliver on the company’s value proposition and ensure growth is maximized
  • Gather insights from both internal and external sources to evaluate our competitive positioning and market opportunity and inform strategic pricing decisions and directions
  • Conduct primary and secondary pricing research (familiarity with Conjoint, VWD, GG, MaxDiff, TURF, KANO is a strong asset)
  • Foster collaboration with PM teams to up level
  • Model financial impact of P&P hypotheses and recommendations
  • Perform pricing and packaging experiments to inform and test hypotheses across Optimizely features and functions
  • Work with product and marketing stakeholders to understand product roadmap and feature functionality to develop pricing and packaging recommendations to ensure we maximize continuous value capture
  • Create lasting impact in how we commercialize and go-to-market with our offerings

Knowledge and Experience

• 3+ years of specific Pricing & Packaging experience in SaaS/PaaS for a B2B software company, scale-up or consulting firm

• Strong numerical, analytical and modeling skills, uncovering insights to drive measurable benefits

• Good understanding of SaaS pricing & packaging theory whilst combining with real world implementable business outcomes

• Interpersonal skills, able to work effectively at all levels of the organization

Preferable Experience

• Knowledgeable of the core pricing research methods (VWD, Conjoint, GG, MaxDiff, Kano, Turf) a benefit

• Experience with CRM and CPQ tools

Education

Bachelor in Economics, Business or within wider quantitative domain.
