Introduction
The Project Manager role is a dynamic customer facing position that consults with customers and partners on best practices with regards to implementations of our commerce, content management, and digital marketing solutions. The position will include supporting customers and partners with project delivery tasks, project management, resource management and strategy.
Job Responsibilities
- Independently perform project planning, including identifying and developing goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identifications of risks, contingency plans, allocation of available resources, and deliverables to meet business need.
- Lead project teams consisting of internal and external resourcesFor medium sized projects, hold project team members accountable through oversight and reporting for completing the project on time, with required quality, within scope and in budget
- Identify and assist with the resolution of project related issues, risks and conflicts
- Within project team and stakeholders, create credibility and trust
- Establish and manages client expectations with project team and stakeholders
- Manage the project change request process independently and facilitate the approval process for requests submitted by clients
- Assist in development and maintaining project documentation and relevant agreements throughout all stages of the project lifecycle
- Within the wider project organisation, interact with sales, managed service teams, customer success managers, support, education services in order to have a successful project, including escalations of unresolved issues to leadership in accordance with internal project policies
- Report project progress, budget and status to the appropriate levels and recommend corrective action when necessary
- Contribute to Expert Services' internal development and process optimization
Knowledge and Experience
- Excellent relationship management communication, client service, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills
- Very good presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to all levels of management and cultures including business analysts, technical resources, and business executive leadership
- Very good ability to effectively, and independently, manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail; requires strong organizational, planning and time management skills
- excellent analytical ability to quickly gather facts, understand the business requirement/scenario and enable the resolution in collaboration with the Project Team
- very good ability to lead and work under pressure; independently make decisions at the project team level and properly escalate those decisions that cannot be resolved on a timely basis
- Very good track record of successful delivery of multiple concurrently running project work streams
- Meet our customers’ expectations by providing efficient service and support during the full project lifecycle, as well as post-go live
- Very good collaboration capability to work effectively with and across other departments
- 3-5 years of project management experience
- Self-starter, consistent performer, flexible to change, positive attitude
- University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Very good verbal and written English communication (besides native language)
- Excellent proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
