Introduction

The role will be required to understand and drive Optimizely’s source to pay processes across a wide range of business models and markets. The role will also have responsibility for strategic sourcing and building a preferred supplier list; supplier risk processes, as well as leading the process for selecting and implementing a world class source to pay system. As a fast growing global company Optimizely operates across multiple territories and across a range of business. Our business is undergoing significant financial transitions with new and emerging business models being continuously developed

Job Responsibilities

•    Leads the strategic transformation of Optimizely’s source to pay processes and systems
•    Continuously benchmarking internal processes against best practices to determine gaps, opportunities for improvement.
•    Drives and owns the delivery of multiple, often parallel improvement projects across the source to pay process.
•    Lead the strategy, design, implementation, and monitoring of the processes related to the collection, use, and maintenance of vendor-related data for functional and transactional use.
•    Influence, collaborate, convince, and act as advocate of the strategic process agenda across a wide network of stakeholders both at a junior, peer, senior and business wide level.
•    Supports the creation of business policies/guidelines, KPIs and process standards and has ideas, experience and proven methods in other sectors/industries that can help provide comparable and new ways of working.
•    Understands supplier risk and can design appropriately targeted processes to ensure Optimizely can manage and mitigate risks, where necessary, across all suppliers.
•    Reviews and owns the training materials and relevant knowledge management as well stewarding the source to pay strategy and improvement plans.

Knowledge and Experience

•    Extensive experience of leading source to pay teams on a global scale
•    Experience of end-to-end source to pay interactions and interdependencies including expertise in spend management, category strategy, negotiating and contracting, procurement, accounts payable and expenses.
•    Experience working in a multi-national matrix organisation.
•    Proven project, programme and change management experience and demonstrated ability to champion and drive change
•    Knowledge of Netsuite preferred, but not essential if there is demonstrated experience in large scale ERP and S2P systems
•    Fluent English verbal and written with experience of working globally across varying cultures, languages and markets.
