The Senior Strategy Consultant will be responsible for ensuring high customer satisfaction and top of the line quality in our Customer Success department across our Optimizely One product family. The Senior Strategy Consultant will work closely together within the Expert Services Global Team to deliver key projects for the client base focused on achieving customer objectives through best use of our software solutions through successful adoption by client users and customers. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a good understanding of the clients’ goals and objectives, their direct marketing strategy, technology, operations and key strategic partners 
  • Gain and maintain a deep level understanding of Optimizely’s marketing solutions 
  • Demonstrate ability to lead Digital Maturity workshops to compel customers to advance digital technology strategies and prioritize roadmap of challenges to solve 
  • Focusing on billable projects with high utilization 
  • Analyze and understand the complexity of marketing technology projects and determine the best technical solution for the customer 
  • Advise our Customer Success Manager and customers on the options for the most effective implementation of requested projects and onboardings 
  • Implementation of complex customer scenarios 
  • Facilitate customer requirements and designs across broad group of stakeholders, including direct contact with customers and participate in client meetings 
  • Maintain a mind-set of continuous improvement focused on the customer experience, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention 
  • Configuration of the software according to the requirements of the customer 
  • Outline and support integrations with other technologies as required to meet business objectives within overall solution approach 
  • Advising our customers on the optimal use of the software according to their requirements 
  • Following customer go-live or on a periodical basis, provide business consulting to drive ongoing adoption of the software ensuring user satisfaction 
  • Provide change management consulting to customers newly adopting Optimizely software solutions, identifying barriers to adoptions and applying effective strategies to overcome 
  • Ensure the most effective and efficient communications channels are set with customers to service their needs 
  • Develop a repository of knowledge out of the on-going work with customers and utilize that to enhance the quality and speed 
  • Collecting feedback after project deployment to measure progress and benefits provided to clients, and modifying consultant activity according to it 
  • Share and document your knowledge with the wider Customer Success Department and Solution Architects to support continuous learning and improvement 
  • Maintaining a holistic view of customer project, identify areas for product, knowledge, and process improvement that enhance the customer experience 
  • Highly driven individual with strong desire to achieve top results and break through barriers, determined to adapt quickly and comfortable with some ambiguity 
  • Manage and implement national and international projects 
  • Any other duties as prescribed by the company which the company deems reasonable and fair 
  • Continuously develop and enhance Optimizely’s strategic consulting programs. 
  • Identify new opportunities and drive tailored programs with deliverables & solutions that help achieve business objectives 
  • Keep up to date with Opti’sproduct eco-system, core products and services offering 
  • Inspire our clients to be innovative in approach, using Opti’s software and services 
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients, acting as the ambassador of the client within Optimizely and vice versa 

Knowledge and Experience

  • A completed IT-related education or IT studies is of advantage 
  • More than 5 years of experience working in a client facing environment 
  • Experienced in Optimizely products (DXP, Commerce, ODP, Content Recommendations, Product Recommendations) 
  • Very good understanding of operational infrastructure, processes, systems and tools 
  • High ability to understand technical complexity of marketing technology solution 
  • Ability to understand customer needs and transform them into technical solutions 
  • Good base knowledge of HTML and script languages such as JSP or PHP 
  • An extreme focus on customer success 
  • Ability to understand business implications of decisions and align work with strategic goals 
  • Work autonomously and bring an exact working method with a good eye for details 
  • High level of energy & enthusiasm for marketing technology 
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple projects and to manage a large number of tasks concurrently and prioritize effectively 
  • Analytical, creative, open-minded and innovative approach to solving problems 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate with target groups at all levels, including developers, marketing users and IT professionals 
  • Confident; self-motivated and driven to achieve 
  • Experience in Support and Consulting operations in the digital marketing industry 
  • Ability to work effective across all parts of the organization
