Introduction
The Strategy Consultant will be responsible for providing our customers with strategic advice and enable them to achieve their strategic goals through the use of the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform, with a focus on our Web- and Feature Experimentation products. The Strategy Consultant will work closely together with account stakeholders to deliver projects for clients focused on achieving customer objectives through the best use of our technology solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop an excellent understanding of the clients’ goals and objectives and their digital strategy and how they can be enabled by technology solutions
- Facilitate sessions and workshops around strategic insights with client stakeholders that drive alignment and influence action affecting business impact, user experience, data, and technology decisions
- Gain and maintain a deep level understanding of the Optimizely product suite to drive ongoing adoption of the platform and ensure high customer retention
- Work with our clients to develop a vision & strategy, map organizational processes, and support change management within their organization to achieve a mindset shift towards data-driven decision making
- Validate and frame ideas as prioritized testable hypotheses (including but not limited to AB tests), actionable recommendations, or questions to research and evaluate further for our clients
- Maintain a mindset of continuous optimization process focused on the customer experience: designing roadmaps, analysis, generating insights, and calculating business impact
- Develop a repository of knowledge from the on-going work and industrialize that to create a repeatable set of activities to scale the consulting function internally at Optimizely
- Share your knowledge with the wider Customer Success Organization, Product, Sales, and Marketing
Knowledge and Experience
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience)
- At least 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, technology consulting, analytics, and/or customer experience optimization optimization (CRO, AB testing)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Possess a good understanding of operational infrastructure, processes, and tools of a modern Digital Experience Platform
- Familiarity with Optimizely (or other leading A/B testing platforms) is a plus
- Ability to travel domestically up to 20% of the time to visit customers
