Introduction

Join our internal Campaign Operations team at Optimizely, working closely with the global marketing team. You'll play a key role in building and executing programs in Marketo on behalf of the global Marketing team. We seek individuals familiar with our marketing strategy and plan, ensuring seamless collaboration from planning to execution. This is a great opportunity to join a growing and fun Marketing Operations team and help build a best-in-class marketing operations engine. Ideal candidates are in EST or CST.

Job Responsibilities

 

· Manage campaign requests in our Content Marketing Platform (CMP)

· Build, test, and execute marketing campaigns via Marketo (emails, landing pages, forms, reports)

· Data cleansing and normalization

· Set up Salesforce campaigns to track success

· Provide feedback on campaign optimization (formatting, copy, subject lines)

· Meet regularly with marketing stakeholders for campaign insights

· Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing recommendations

· Develop and maintain Marketo process documentation

· Project management and prioritization of campaign requests and other projects

· Stay updated on industry knowledge, best practices, and trends in marketing automation and campaign management

· Collaborate with the marketing operations team on process improvement and Marketo enhancements

Knowledge and Experience

· Previous experience in a marketing operations role in a B2B, SaaS organization

· 1+ years as a daily user or admin in a marketing automation platform (Marketo preferred)

· Experience building technical documentation

· Some CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)

· Strong project management skills, including specifying timeframes, dependencies, and risk factors, and managing multiple priorities

· Ability to learn innovative technologies and define processes

· Excellent spoken and written communication and receptive listening skills

· Ability to work with deadlines and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

· Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities

· Flexible and focused among competing priorities

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
