We are looking for a creative, collaborative, and data-oriented product marketing manager to tell the story of our products to marketing, growth, and digital teams across the globe. This person has practitioner expertise in experimentation programs and has hands-on product marketing experience. In addition, they will be self-motivated and have demonstrated the ability to perform at a high level in previous professional experience. This role will work cross-functionally with different departments in marketing and be a GTM partner to our sales, product, and customer success organizations.

Job Responsibilities


As a Web Experimentation Solution Marketing Manager, you will: 

  • Own our level 0, 1 product messaging, positioning, and key-value drivers, which differentiate Optimizely in the market.
  • Produce high-impact content for marketing/growth / digital personas, including ownership of the bill of materials for the product. 
  • Own the customer-facing roadmap that balances communication of the Product’s long-term vision against short-term feature/bug fix releases.
  • Create go-to-market plans, translating technical details and features into outcomes that resonate with our key audiences about our value drivers and why our product is different.
  • Work closely with Product to drive product strategy and plan, execute, and measure the outcome of feature launches.
  • Develop and deliver product, market, and industry-specific enablement to the Optimizely sales team.
  • Enable our sales team to confidently present our products to buyers through the creation of trainings, internal and external collateral, and messaging. 
  • Collaborate with industry renown analysts such as Forrester, Gartner, IDC, etc. On licensed reports for demand generation, e.g., Forrester Total Economic Impact studies
  • Have a crucial role in driving and communicating about our experimentation program.
  • Align with the Digital team to maintain our web experimentation program and participate in building, executing, and providing analysis on content created using keyword strategy tactics relevant to Web Experimentation.
  • Work with demand generation, communications, field marketing, and SDR leadership to define and bring marketing campaigns to life that drive interest in our products. 
  • Be the voice of the customer. Understand customer needs and pain points and influence the rest of the team to meet those needs.
  • Be a product expert. Seek out opportunities to increase product understanding and expertise. Stay informed of our customers, buyers, and competitors by continuing to build industry expertise.
  • Evangelize customers and internal teams about our value props and their benefits with our Product Managers.
  • Present Optimizely products and solutions during internal sales calls, corporate and customer events, and other external audiences, including the media.
  • Understand market needs for the product integrations and partnerships that have been developed and build unique and differentiated messaging and positioning for those considerations.

Knowledge and Experience

•    5+ years of proven experience managing and executing web experiments, specifically A/B testing. 
•    A strong background in B2B product marketing or solutions marketing. 
•    Excellent written communication and presentation skills. You have a proven ability to organize research findings into key insights that resonate with cross-functional audiences. You can craft content and clearly articulate differentiation. You are a strong speaker and are comfortable in front of technical groups and senior-level stakeholders. 
•    Driven. You can work independently and come up with ingenious ways to reach your goals, looking for new ideas or opportunities.  
•    Curious. Strive to want to learn more and not be afraid to be bold and try new things. You’re not afraid to ask questions or challenge assumptions. 
•    Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, 
•    Passion for the field. You have experience with marketing technology, data, analytics, or product management and are always looking to learn something new. 
•    Data-driven, use data to measure results and inform decision making and strategy development. You understand the concept of statistical significance and can interpret and articulate the findings and define the next steps. 
•    Proficient in English. You can speak and write English to a native level. 
•    Experience working with and interpreting Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Data Studio.


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
