The Partner Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing partner programs to support Optimizely’s goals and priorities through the global partner ecosystem.

This role will develop and execute the global partner engagement plan, create sales and partner enablement promotions and manage partner events to drive Optimizely initiatives. Responsible for organizing global partner events (e.g. Partner Days) and working with the regional teams to support the delivery of smaller, local events. This role will work closely with the Marketing team and executive stakeholders across the business.

This role requires a self-motivated individual who can manage multiple partner events to build engagement between Optimizely and the partner channel. This person will be the interface between Optimizely’s voice and vision and the global partner community.

Job Responsibilities

  • Effectively represent Optimizely’s priorities to the partner ecosystem
  • Be the face of Optimizely’s global partner engagement
  • Manage the Partner Advisory Board Program
  • Drive quarterly partner webinars
  • Co-ordinate external facing to-partner events, including Partner Kickoff, and Opticon partner events
  • Support sponsorship opportunities for annual flagship Partner events

Knowledge and Experience


  • Outstanding communication and relationship management skills
  • A consistent record of successful audience engagement activities
  • Experience planning in-person and virtual events
  • Competency with Marketo and Asana, Welcome or other marketing orchestration platforms
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Salesforce Communities is a plus
  • Market knowledge
  • Ability to identify potential solutions, create business cases, demand generation and marketing programs for these solutions
  • The ability to build and develop diverse relationships across the business to ensure the Partner community is fully supported
  • Team player. Strong drive. Self-starter. Willing to take leadership role in driving initiatives, working across the organization
