Introduction

As the Senior Vice President of Global Demand Generation, you will  lead our growth and demand gen initiatives, ultimately measured by company wide pipeline generation. In this executive role, you will be responsible for crafting and executing a forward-thinking demand generation strategy that drives pipeline. The role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in data-driven decision-making and cross-departmental collaboration to achieve outstanding outcomes. Reporting directly to our President, you will be accountable for our demand generation efforts and align them with our overarching business objectives. Depending on experience, you may have accountability for our global campaigns, digital, field marketing and SDR organizations. To be successful in this role, you must be comfortable diving deep into data, spreadsheets, BI tools etc. You will be expected to be fluent with numbers and in the details, despite being a leader of a large organization.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Vision: Develop and articulate a comprehensive demand generation strategy that prioritizes driving sales growth and aligns with Optimizely’s long-term business objectives.

Sales Alignment: Collaborate closely with sales leadership to ensure demand generation initiatives effectively generate qualified leads and support revenue targets.

Campaign Oversight: Lead the design and execution of high-impact, multi-channel marketing campaigns specifically aimed at nurturing leads and accelerating the sales pipeline.

SDR Organization: Lead the global SDR organization and continue to drive up productivity per SDR for both inbound and outbound efforts

Performance Optimization: Utilize data analytics to assess campaign effectiveness and refine strategies to improve lead quality and maximize conversion rates.

Knowledge and Experience

•    Experience: A minimum of 8 years in demand generation or growth marketing, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles overseeing global teams in B2B SaaS space.
•    Strategic Leadership: Proven experience in developing and executing demand generation strategies that deliver significant revenue growth and market impact.
•    Sales and Marketing Alignment: Strong track record of aligning marketing strategies with sales objectives to drive measurable business results.
•    Digital Marketing Expertise: In-depth knowledge of digital marketing tools and tactics, including paid media, content marketing, email campaigns, SEO/SEM, and social media.
•    Analytical Acumen: Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into effective strategies and actionable plans.
•    Executive Communication: Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with senior executives and diverse stakeholders.
•    Global Experience: Demonstrated success in leading demand generation efforts across multiple regions, adapting strategies to various market dynamics.
•    SDRs: Experience leading a global SDR organizaiton is a plus
•    Marketing Technology Proficiency: Experience with marketing automation platforms 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
