Introduction

We are seeking a Senior Campaign Marketing Manager who will lead global, integrated marketing campaigns for Optimizely’s industry-leading Content Management System (CMS) product. This role will own end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of campaigns that drive awareness, demand, and revenue pipeline for our CMS offering.

The ideal candidate is a strategic marketer with deep experience in campaign development, product-led storytelling, and cross-channel orchestration. You will partner closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Demand, Content, and Creative teams to bring the CMS value proposition to market and accelerate customer acquisition.

Job Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Planning

  • Develop the global campaign strategy and messaging framework for Optimizely’s CMS product, aligned to business and revenue goals.
  • Define audience segments, value propositions, and key campaign themes informed by customer insights and market trends.
  • Build annual and quarterly campaign plans that span awareness, consideration, and demand-generation motions.

Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead the execution of multi-channel campaigns across paid, earned, owned, and partner channels (email, paid media, ABM, social, events, web, content, etc.).
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing to translate CMS product positioning into compelling campaign narratives and assets.
  • Partner with Sales and SDR teams to ensure strong lead handoff processes, enablement materials, and follow-up strategies.

Performance Optimization

  • Establish campaign KPIs, tracking frameworks, and reporting dashboards.
  • Analyze campaign performance and use data-driven insights to optimize messaging, targeting, and channel mix.
  • Conduct competitive and market research to continuously refine the campaign approach.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage campaign timelines, budgets, resourcing, and agency relationships.
  • Develop campaign briefs and ensure all teams are aligned on objectives, deliverables, and anticipated outcomes.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation and high-quality execution across all campaign materials.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Present campaign plans and results to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders and guide teams toward shared goals.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to best-practice development within Global Campaigns.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • 6+ years of campaign marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or digital experience technologies.
  • Proven success building and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Experience working with or marketing CMS, content platforms, or DXP solutions (preferred).
  • Deep understanding of the B2B buyer journey and full-funnel marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, GA).
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail with a bias for action and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams and drive consensus.
  • Budget management and experience working with agencies or external partners.
