Introduction
Optimizely is seeking a strategic, data-savvy, and customer-obsessed Senior Manager of Product Marketing to lead our Digital Optimization portfolio—including analytics, experimentation, and personalization. The ideal candidate will craft compelling narratives that showcase how Optimizely empowers product and digital teams to learn faster, optimize smarter, and drive measurable outcomes. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, crisp communication, and deep market insight—with the ability to operate as both a team leader and a high-impact individual contributor.
Job Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team of product marketers while contributing as a high-performing individual.
- Product Expertise: Develop deep understanding of Optimizely’s digital optimization suite— including Experimentation, Personalization, and Analytics—and advocate for customer needs across the product lifecycle.
- Positioning & Messaging: Own differentiated positioning and messaging for Optimizely’s optimization offerings, clearly articulating business value to marketers, product teams, developers, and digital leaders.
- Marketing Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the broader marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing plans, including campaigns and activities to drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Customer Proof & Insights: Capture compelling customer stories and build case studies that showcase measurable impact (e.g. increased conversion rates, faster test velocity, improved ROI).
- Enablement: Partner with key Enablement, GTM, and Customer Success teams to provide resources and training that empower field teams to effectively communicate the value of our optimization solutions.
Knowledge and Experience
- 5+ years in B2B product or solution marketing
- Proven ability to lead high-impact go-to-market initiatives across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical features into value.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to turn data into actionable messaging and strategy.
- Passion for experimentation and a test-and-learn mindset.
- Direct experience with A/B testing, feature experimentation, personalization engines, or digital analytics platforms strongly preferred.
