Introduction

Onboarding Solutions Architects at Optimizely are key members of the Onboarding team, which is a part of the broader Customer Success organization. They work closely with Customers and Partners and are responsible for ensuring the successful technical deployment of a suite of products, add-ons and integrations, that require both a strong technical expertise and a deep product understanding to drive value and adoption with our customers. They work closely with our Engagement Managers & Strategy Consultants and their daily responsibilities include running discovery sessions to understand the Customers specific tech stack and setup, guiding customers through the technical implementation steps for Optimizely products based on their goals and requirements, troubleshooting issues to resolution and provide general consultancy to drive long term success.

For this role we are looking for someone that would Major into our NetSpring product offering with the expectation of them being ramped up in time on other products based on their skills and geographic needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads customers and partners through the successful technical delivery of a range of product and services based on their goals and requirements
  • Implement customer use cases working closely with customers and product/engineering to drive successful product adoption
  • Onboard new customers into the platform, assisting with data modeling, building content, and training
  • Facilitate and deliver in-person and/or remote user training, technical discovery, and design & technical workshops in accordance with designated service offerings
  • Communicate product knowledge and concepts clearly and concisely as required to both technical and non-technical audiences including marketing, analysts, and developers
  • Work closely with Engagement Managers and Strategy Consultants on large-scale global deployment efforts
  • Collaborate actively with internal product & engineering teams to reach the best technical solutions and effective troubleshooting, provide feedback on new features or to discuss gaps and customer specific use cases
  • Manage multiple simultaneous customer projects, balancing priorities of business objectives, use cases, customer satisfaction, and technical quality while being an advocate for the customer and partners
  • Maintain an in-depth product knowledge to provide consistent and up to date approaches and recommendations when addressing customers use cases
  • Responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance of our internal documentation to support/streamline/accelerate the deployment of the solution
  • Participate in pre-sales scoping activities to assess integration feasibility or to formulate custom packages when required
  • Act as a subject matter expert throughout the company to support complex use cases and situations where extensive expertise is required
  • Mentor peers cross-training on new products, features or key concepts and maintain adequate documentation to support an effective ramp up plan
  • Participate in recruitment activities through direct interview or supporting the review of technical knowledge via aptitude tests

Knowledge and Experience

  • 4+ years of experience working with data warehouses and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or Data Sciences
  • 2+ years of experience working with data warehouses and a Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or Data Sciences
  • Experience working with a SaaS service for an enterprise data analytics product
  • Deep technical understanding of data analytics and familiarity with analytic tools and platforms
  • Strong SQL, ETL and data modeling skills
  • Strong sxperience developing apps/scripts or working with front-end technologies (JavaScript, Next.js, Typescript, HTML and CSS)
  • Experience using REST APIs and associated authentication mechanisms
  • Willingness to learn other development/scripting/querying languages as required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills when working with both technical, non-technical and executive audiences (English verbal and written)
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to be flexible in project situations.
