Introduction
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager – Feature Experimentation to lead the next chapter of innovation in how customers build, test, and release products with confidence.
You will own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for Optimizely Feature Experimentation — the platform that powers experimentation and feature management for developers and product teams across the world. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role that blends strategic vision, technical depth, and customer empathy to shape how teams ship, learn, and scale experimentation within Optimizely One.
You’ll partner closely with engineering, design, analytics, and go-to-market teams to drive customer outcomes, define new capabilities, and evolve our SDKs and platform integrations. You’ll also bring AI fluency — leveraging data and emerging technologies to power smarter experimentation insights, recommendations, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Discovery
- Engage directly with product and engineering teams at enterprise and mid-market customers to understand their workflows, pain points, and experimentation maturity.
- Identify unmet needs in feature management and experimentation infrastructure.
- Translate insights into clear product hypotheses, success criteria, and opportunities that inform the roadmap.
Product Strategy
- Define and own the roadmap for Optimizely’s Feature Experimentation platform, balancing immediate value delivery with long-term strategic growth.
- Partner with Product leadership to articulate the vision for developer-centric experimentation, aligned with Optimizely One, Opal AI and Optimizely Analytics.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to anticipate industry shifts and maintain Optimizely’s leadership position.
Solution Design
- Collaborate with Design and Engineering to define simple, scalable, and intuitive workflows for developers and product teams.
- Lead solution reviews, ensuring usability, reliability, and performance across SDKs, APIs, and UI surfaces.
- Drive product specifications that balance customer experience, technical feasibility, and business impact.
Go-to-Market & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to define positioning, messaging, and adoption strategies.
- Enable internal teams with compelling narratives and clear use cases to drive market education and customer engagement.
- Define and measure success metrics - from adoption to retention to customer satisfaction - and use data to iterate and improve.
AI & Innovation
- Explore opportunities to apply AI in experimentation and feature management
- Collaborate with the AI product and analytics teams to ensure experimentation features leverage Optimizely’s broader intelligence capabilities.
About You
- 5+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS, developer platforms, or experimentation tools.
- Strong technical acumen — comfortable working with SDKs, APIs, data infrastructure, and developer workflows.
- Proven ability to lead customer discovery, define clear strategies, and deliver impactful solutions.
- Demonstrated AI fluency, with experience applying AI or analytics to product decision-making or workflow automation.
- Excellent communicator who can simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly collaborative and self-motivated — thrives in cross-functional environments and acts with high ownership and agency.
