Introduction
The Senior Accountant role within our Finance department entails overseeing accounting accuracy for EMEA entities, IFRS and GAAP reporting, and consolidations. Responsibilities also include adherence to local accounting principles, legal requirements such as tax calculations, and preparation of statutory reports for submission to authorities.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage Tax and VAT reporting for EMEA entities and oversee Statutory reports
- Reconcile local versus IFRS and GAAP books
- Handle intangible assets, development activation, and amortization
- Conduct intercompany reconciliations
- Perform full balance sheet reconciliation for EMEA entities
- Contribute to month-end reporting for the Group
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all EMEA entities
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of accounting processes
Knowledge and Experience
- Education in Accounting
- Background in Audit
- Proficiency in accounting systems (Netsuite considered a plus) and Excel
- Fluent in both English and Swedish
- Preferred experience in an IT cloud company and familiarity with partner models
- Possess a thoughtful personality with a keen sense for details and order
- Analytical and structured team player
- Strong communication and cooperation skills
- High moral standards and a strong sense of ethics
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Service-oriented, with a focus on supporting auditors and both external and internal customers
Education
- Educational background in Accounting
- Formal education in Audit
- Specialized education in Excel
