Introduction
As Senior Manager of Learning Experience, you will play a vital role in ensuring Optimizely has the necessary processes, information, and infrastructure to deliver top-quality training programs to our customers and partners. You will lead a team working with both customer-facing and back-office operations staff to ensure the seamless delivery of training and certification programs to our customers and partners.
Job Responsibilities
- Operations & process management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Education department, including coordination with vendors, contract management, reporting and analytics, and continuous process improvement. Ensure operational processes are efficient, standardized, and continually improved.
- Learning technology & systems management: Oversee the effective use, maintenance, development, and configuration of our external LMS, certification system, and other learning technologies. Ensure these systems effectively support our training programs and enhance the overall learning experience. Manage the integration of learning and certification systems with other core systems, ensuring consistent, reliable data exchange and interoperability.
- Learner support and administration: Oversee the provision of learner support services to address queries, issues, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Reporting and analytics: Implement robust reporting and analytics mechanisms to track the performance and impact of our education initiatives. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
- Project management: Lead internal projects within the department, coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Team management: Lead and manage a team of specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and continuous improvement.
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in learning and development, education, or a similar role with a focus on
operations and technology. - Strong knowledge of learning management systems, test administration systems, and other
learning tools. - Proven experience in managing teams, operations, and projects within an education or training context.
- Experience with system integration and configuration management.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
