Introduction

The Sales Operations department at Optimizely is responsible for ensuring that executive management has the visibility they need into the business, that the field has the right resources, and that the sales and services organizations have the process/tools to work smoothly and effectively. They need to work well with all departments at Optimizely and also stay closely aligned with the executive team. The Senior Business Analyst's job is to work with stakeholders to find out, analyze, specify, and verify business requirements that meet business needs. They must be able to work with a varied stakeholder group from different functions of the business to identify areas of disagreement and agree on a future state that allows the company to grow. The Senior Business Analyst will have many roles on their projects and are in charge of everything from requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, training, and post deployment support. You will work with Salesforce Administrators to design, develop, and deploy solutions while learning and expanding your skill set. You will be part of the Sales Operations team and report to the Director of Sales Operations.

Job Responsibilities

•    Gather requirements and help administer for Salesforce tool including integrations, processes, and operations. Facilitate discussions with business owners in working sessions to understand requirements, find common ground, and evaluate acceptable solutions
•    Participate in Salesforce-related projects, such as system enhancements, migrations, or integrations. This includes defining project scope, requirements gathering, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery
•    Develop user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Optimizely Sales Technology solutions
•    Develop User Acceptance Testing scenarios, identify test criteria and test new functionality/enhancements
•    Complete the configuration for user stories within Salesforce, AppExchange products, or other cloud-based technologies
•    Collaborate with developers to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirements
•    Stay updated on Salesforce best practices, new features, and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements to the Salesforce instance. 
•    Create and customize reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance, pipeline management, and other key metrics. 
•    Identify gaps in process, operations, and systems 
•    Create and maintain documentation in partnership with cross-departmental teams related to Salesforce administration, process and operations
•    Understand what processes and business drivers the enterprise systems support in each organization and cross-functionally
•    Understand the data flows between systems

Knowledge and Experience

•    Hands on experience configuring Salesforce or similar CRM Product, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls
•    Project management experience including soliciting, gathering, and analyzing user input and requirements; documenting user stories and creating to-be process flow diagrams; and collaborating with business stakeholders
•    Approximately 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Central IT.
•    Salesforce Admin Certification
•    Collaborative team player.
•    Possess strong and effective planning, execution,  communications, build documentation and multi-tasking skills.
•    Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership in his or her work.

Education

•    Degree educated (or have equivalent experience or qualifications)
