Introduction
We are looking to add a new Associate Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) to our team!
The Expert Services team consults with customers and partners on best practices with regard to implementations of our commerce, content management, and digital marketing solutions. We will support customers and partners with architectural design, development, third party integration strategy, and application performance tuning. The Quality Assurance Engineer role requires QA skills and experience. Having customer facing, consulting or services experience is a plus. Our offices offer collaborative work environments and close-knit teams.
Job Responsibilities
• Participate in the requirements review and website analysis
• Work in a team setting with other QA engineers, Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers
• Write test plans, test cases and manage testing assets
• Execute tests, find bugs, communicate findings and concerns to the team in a timely manner
• Become familiar with Optimizely’s suite of products
Knowledge and Experience
• Ability to work in an independent or team environment
• At least 1/2 year of experience in manual testing with strong technical background.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum process
• Familiarity with common Web technologies like HTML/CSS/JS
• Good skills in English, both written and spoken
Bonus Qualifications!
• Experience with automation or performance testing tools is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies – Azure Application Insights, Visual Studio, VS Code is a plus.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or Telecommunication preferred or equivalent working experience
