Introduction

Optimizely Rapid Experimentation Services (RapidX) provides full experimentation development to Fortune 1000 clients across the globe. From strategy, to design, development, and QA, our team rapidly produces A/B, multivariate, and personalization tests so our clients can reach important business goals and drive more conversions. 

We are currently seeking a front-end developer to help us support more clients by building out fully interactive test experiences, as well as custom segments and analytics to support the entire experimentation process from start to finish. All of this will be done through Optimizely’s state-of-the-art experimentation platform (prior experience using the platform is a big plus, but not required). This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to learn more about A/B testing, or to hone their front-end javascript skills. 

In addition, this role would work directly with the RapidX Lead Developer on the team to help assist with more client-forward work, and to ensure the team is running smoothly on an operational level. As the team grows in the future, this would provide an excellent opportunity for any candidate who may be looking to eventually gain developer team leadership experience.

This role is remote based out of Dhaka, but we would need the candidate to have at least 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Time in the US. We currently have folks in North America, South America, and Europe, which means you’ll have lots of couches to crash on. We are passionate about driving results for our clients, exploring new ideas together, and learning from “failure”. We also firmly believe that work should be fun and since we will be spending a lot of (virtual) time together - trust and laughter is a must.

Knowledge and Experience

5+ years of experience using JavaScript, HTML & CSS

Passion for front-end development

Strong communication skills 


Nice to Have:

A/B testing experience

Agency or Services team experience 

Experience writing code using vanilla JavaScript

Experience with React. js, Angular/Angular JS, and/or similar frameworks/libraries

Asana familiarity 

Previous experience with the Optimizely platform

.NET experience

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (4 PM to 12 AM)

Education

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline required.
