The Role:

We're seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Graph team and enhance the search functionality within our multi-tenant service. This role requires significant experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Elasticsearch/OpenSearch in a production environment. You will own projects from initial requirements gathering (PRD) through to successful completion, collaborating with customers to ensure solutions meet their specific needs. 

 

As part of our team, you'll contribute to building cutting-edge features leveraging serverless compute, auto-scaling OpenSearch clusters, and LLMs with Machine Learning nodes. We are a team that prioritizes high code quality in every commit.

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience of developing and managing services in production
  • Experience managing Elasticsearch / OpenSearch in production, with optimization of settings, shards, and replicas.
  • Experience creating optimized Elasticsearch / OpenSearch queries
  • Experience developing with TypeScript
  • Expertise with API design and development of GraphQL or RESTful web services 
  • Partnering closely with internal stakeholders to gain a strong understanding of business and product data needs
  • You find satisfaction in being a force multiplier for your colleagues
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering or related experience require

  • Experience developing GraphQL APIs
  • Experience in Kubernetes, Docker etc. and/ or serverless cloud stacks
  • Experience developing multi-tenant services
  • Experience of Machine Learning in Elasticsearch / OpenSearch
  • Experience working with go-to-market teams 
  • Understanding the value of pair programming/TDD/Clean Code
  • Exposure/Experience leveraging functional languages / paradigms
