Introduction

This is a hands-on, technical Product Manager role focused on our CMS product and the virtual teammates + agents that work alongside our customers' marketing and development teams. Virtual teammates can take on real work: analyzing data, building and publishing pages, auditing content, keeping sites healthy and more. We are looking for a builder who can design, prototype, and ship these agents and teammates, then oversee their improvement in production based on customer feedback.

You will not just write requirements for agents and teammates; you will build them. You'll be comfortable writing agent instructions, writing evals, and iterating on prompts and tools until the agent or teammate does the job reliably. You'll define what each virtual teammate is responsible for, what it is allowed to do, how it is measured, and when a human needs to step in.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (2 PM to 10 PM), Hybrid

Job Responsibilities

  • Build & Ship Agents & Teammates: Prototype and ship agents and virtual teammates end to end, from idea to working agent in customers' hands. Bias toward building, testing with real users, and iterating over lengthy specification.
  • Define & Oversee the Virtual Workforce: Own the "job description" for each virtual teammate: its scope, tools and permissions, autonomy levels, escalation paths, and guardrails.
  • Strategy & Vision: Define and drive a clear strategy for how virtual teammates and agents transform the way teams create, manage, and deliver their work in an AI-first world. Identify the highest-value workflows to automate and decide where agents should act autonomously versus assist a human.
  • Customer Obsession: Act as the voice of the people who will work with agents: marketers, content editors, developers, and implementation partners. Work directly with customers and partners to understand their workflows, observe how they collaborate with agents, and turn that feedback into better products.
  • Product Development: Maintain a roadmap, write concise PRDs where they add clarity, and set a predictable cadence for delivery. Prioritize based on user feedback, business impact, and agent performance data.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Partner tightly with engineering, design, support, documentation, and GTM teams. Provide clear requirements, articulate trade-offs, and help teams understand how to adopt and trust virtual teammates.
  • Analytics & Adoption: Implement product analytics and reporting that track agent adoption, task success rates, human intervention rates, time saved, and cost to serve, and use them to guide investment.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience: 2-5 years of product management experience, with at least 1 year in a developer-focused or technical product. Preferably within the martech or SaaS industry.
  • Builder Mindset: A track record of building things yourself, whether internal tools, automations, prototypes, or agents, and getting them in front of users. You are energized by learning new tools fast and shipping, and you are comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving space.
  • Agentic Systems & Tooling Experience: Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying AI agents that take action across workflows (e.g., content creation, content modeling, code generation, debugging, or deployment). Working knowledge of prompting, tool design, context management, and agent orchestration patterns.
  • Evaluation & Reliability Mindset: Experience defining success metrics for non-deterministic systems, building evals, and using production data to improve quality. Comfortable reasoning about failure modes, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop design.
  • Customer Orientation: Deep empathy for the people working alongside agents. You know what great enablement and change management look like, and you've worked closely with customers, partners, or services teams.
  • Communication Excellence: Skilled at writing clear, concise documentation, PRDs, and release notes. Comfortable presenting to customers and internal stakeholders and explaining AI concepts to a non-technical audience.
